“Having listened to the mini-series on "Who killed Liz Truss", I was compelled to give this series a review. Preston's partisan take seems to absolve Kwarteng and Truss of any responsibility for their catastrophic attempt to launch a series of unfunded tax cuts.
Peston proceeded to treat Truss and Kwarteng with kid gloves and didn't investigate the failures of judgement and lapses of professional responsibility that led to this country forcing a bail out and spending tens of billions to save us from Truss' incompetence.
