Radically bad
To their credit, they did some great interviews (the Andy Haldane episode was a good one). My gripe is with the hosts’ inability to cover topics in an engaging and informed way, and their bizarre insistence on presenting moonshot, marginal ideas as credible policy proposals. Seriously suggesting that tax incentives for downsizing would even as much as move the dial on the UK’s housing crisis (never mind resolve it), or that giving tech-savvy companies tax breaks for sharing their AI technology with the relatively tech-illiterate government would be an infallible deal, is radical - it’s radically bad. It’s the kind of superficial economics that belongs down the pub.
