“Katty is fantastic. She was full of great insights and brining clarity and depth to complex issues. Excellent knowledge and research spread lightly to illuminate (eg the stats on u35 views on Israel/ Palestine). A real gem and 5 STAR Unfortunately the mooch is still a partisan opinion voice. I don’t trust him and that’s fatal. Far too many opinions not based on analysis and very little insight. A low point was his bizarre comment on the college protests that “the US should go back to having ex military as its leaders”. He said “this will be unpopular” - he’s right. It was completely unrelated to the subject and took discussion down a pointless dead end. It was not based on evidence. It was just dumb. Katty didn’t bother responding - how could she ? I think the Mooch has “main character” syndrome. He thinks we want to listen to his unique insider gossip or sideways views. I don’t. I want someone with sufficient awareness and humility to take a broad view and not see themselves as still a player in the story. He’s someone who should be interviewed and needs to be put in context.”
