This episode celebrated climate change, very disappointing

I’ve just found this podcast full of very useful advice and inspiration for gardeners. But I find the tinkling piano music played while people are talking so distracting! So much soo that it’s off putting.

Brilliant!!!!! As ever. I didn’t quite understand what you meant by The RSH will be peat free by 2025 Is that the time you will stop using it or that it will be phased out by 2025? Thanks

I live on a peat bog. That eas s pete farm. If grows yearly. I totally disagree with your gardening falsehoods. You are slaying plants you call annuals as you are preventing pete from happening in a natural way. Annuals are not a crop. Let them live and regenerate this bog called earth

I listen frequently. I love all the information you pass on. I am from the USA. I have no problem with the accent or the rate of speech!! But I do listen to a lot of British podcasts.

I would like to say that I listen all of the time. I don’t. And only because every single episode is in an England dialect with fast speed talking hosts, who clearly speak to their continent only. Literally can’t understand half of what they say. Year after year. Just slow down and speak clearly....Read full review »

Every episode is just an endless slew of neo-liberal culture war garbage. Fancy finding out about the Chelsea flower show? No instead hear about Women garden designers, drag queen gardener, refugee welcome stands and endless climate change propaganda. So unbelievably tiresome. I just want to hear...Read full review »

I love the range of knowledge provided by the RHS team, which is useful for gardens far away from the UK but with similar climate.

Guy, please rinse and spit before recording your intro. It sounds like you are talking with your mouth full of something very juicy. Not appealing.

There is always a nice mix of topics and I just love Guy Barters voice

A short and informative podcast with several different themes each week. Gives you ideas of what to do at each time of year, and things going on in the RHS and gardens.

I love to listen to this podcast while having a recupmoment in the couch. I learn so much by listening and even with my eyes closed I almost see the plants, the gardens, the insects,.. they are talking about!

Even though I am in the states I learn so much! I was horribly sick with the worst cold and sore throat ever, listening to last episode kept my mind off my misery! Thank you!

Hello. I would love to be interviewed on your podcast. I make sell and promote a rather unique product and system of beekeeping. Now with over 1500 sold in the last few years. It’s no longer a total novelty. My mantra is : bees for bees sake. I believe in a better more gentle way to keep or at...Read full review »

I thought this might help me manage my plant borders and generally advance my recently discovered interest in gardening for pleasure, but the RHS doesn’t seem to be interested in talking to me about matters if such low import!
patrickzero via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 09/02/22
The content seems good enough but I couldn’t make it through an episode because of the constant background noise - from birds singing and water running to shovelling- it’s incredibly annoying!

Already an RHS member so I don’t need the constant coercion to join. Presenters flat, dull and irritating voices, very little in the way of useful content
thecheshirecat19 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 06/16/22
Really appreciate the RHS podcast with Guy Barter and the interesting range of guests. Love the way the horticultural info is presented, interesting to wander along with, plus pointers or refs to follow up and know more when required. It’s fascinating to hear about the sustainability practices across the pond. We lack that here in the states. Keep on fighting the good fight and thank you for keeping me informed and providing great ideas for more sustainable gardening practices.

Unbelievable that the wonderful relaxing soundscapes like rain and bird calls etc, so fantastic to listen to at night, are totally and utterly ruined by the ding ding ding chimes and piercing voices of adverts at the end!
