Access to cleanliness is a human right, but for those living on the streets, it’s never that simple. Daily hygiene is not only an ongoing challenge for people experiencing homelessness, but a major roadblock to the things we take for granted like social acceptance, health, access to the job market, mental wellbeing, and more.
The feeling of cleanliness goes beyond just a physical feeling. It can bring people joy, hope, strength, and a sense of dignity they may have lost along the way.
Join us as we pull back the curtain on the intricacies around homelessness and cleanliness. We’ll break down biases, come to new understandings about, and share intimate stories from our unhoused communities. On The Right To Shower, we talk to NGO and business leaders, politicians, experts, and our unhoused neighbors and friends, in order to understand the change even a single shower can make in someone’s life.

Not just the homeless
Very good excellent. On this day 4 years ago a father died and left everything to his son due to dementia. He forgot how to swallow. His only child was and is my husband. At the time we didn’t know the havoc it could wreak to have a trust fund control every cent and movement of your lives. Now we do.
