Fahad Sarwani: Truth About Values (It's Not What You Think)
Listen now
Description
Prioritizing based on what’s most important in our lives is mostly the standard measure we take to start our journey.    Deep down, they are values that determine our priorities, and when we act upon our decisions based on importance, the behavior matches those values. If the behavior doesn’t align, it is a clear sign that you don’t know your values, and the outcome is unhappiness and dissatisfaction.    Therefore identifying your values is crucial, and when you know them, making decisions becomes easy because some of the good blessings maybe you don’t need it, sometimes it is tricky, which might drag you to something which might take you away from your visions and purpose of life, but if you know your values, that’s not the case.    To choose a job, to accept the next promotion, to start your own business? Whether to compromise or to hold on to something or to take up a new journey altogether will be crystal clear and super easy.    So, I got an opportunity to invite Fahad Sarwani, who has identified his values not just in the mind level but goes beyond that. It is something which he connects with God Almighty, the characteristics and attributes of God.    Fahad Sarwani is a Wealth Manager at KFH Bahrain, earned an MBA from New York, USA, and an Islamic Shari’a degree from Bahrain. Fahad is also a renowned ICF-certified life coach with a passion for spirituality. He is the founder and CEO of Falaq Consulting, a self-development education platform that aims to inspire humanity to enjoy a win-win life. Previously a tennis pro, Fahad is regularly seen on national TV on his popular weekly show ‘Deep Dive,’ TED Talks, and online courses.     We talked about: His background/story motivated him to learn many techniques, self-help training, spirituality, mindfulness, and teaching and coaching. What was his worst phase of life? How did he overcome that challenging phase? I also asked him why he always tries to stay away from the limelight—keeping it simple and grounded. He has facilitated many determining values sessions and helped everyone with focusing on what is essential. So we talked about his top 6 core values he has identified for himself and exercising them, and how does he maintain his focus on those? Since he thought of me and my inner circle inside-out life, we talked about people stuck in the purification stage and people of other extremes to realize the dangers of judgmental mode?  He also shared few critical observations from the current situation, which is scary and drowning deep in scarcity mindset mode. Lastly, his three most important things in life for which he is very grateful?   It is closed with Rapid Fire Questions at the end.  “Well, that’s all for Episode #10 of ‘The Righteous Rich’ Thanks for tuning in, and Join us again next week when we talk about all other distinctions and characteristics of righteous rich people, so stop by for a chat @ibeingkazi.
