Immature and uninformed
I really wanted to like it, but it’s just bad. It’s like two people got fired up after watching Drive to Survive and started a podcast. They don’t understand the sport, or competition in general, and end up fabricating a lot of “What if” hypotheses centered on drama. It’s just odd and immature. It’s akin to listening to two pre-teens talk about a Taylor Swift’s beef with another singer. The hosts can’t seem to adapt to conversations that aren’t dominated by how brilliant Lewis Hamilton/Mercedes is, and how dangerous Max Verstappen is. They are very cliche (i.e. Love Mercedes, Love Hamilton, Hate Max, Hate Red Bull, Love Riccardo, Clown Haas, Love how Quirky Gunther is). If you’re 14, maybe you’ll like it. If you follow the sport remotely closely, it’ll be annoying and confusing because their commentary is uniformed and gossipy and isn’t relevant to this year or the new era of cars.

More reviews of The Ringer F1 Show
Felt like I was listening to the Kardashians try and talk about F1, but then again even they would probably be more knowledgeable. Awful.

Been into f1 for a few years now. Checked this out because of Ryan Hunn. He was great. The host is fine, but the bias from him and others is ever present. Very surface level that’s based around narratives and DTS.

When I want to listen to people who know less about the sport than I do and provide no real insight, this is where I come. Honestly a lot better podcast to give your time to, this feels like a pair who are trying to cash in on the DTS hype in the states.
