“Out of loyalty, I cannot rate this podcast stream with less than five stars.
But there's a problem. It's crunch time in the playoffs, and there's no one running the squad. A 73 win team could lose in the WCF, the future of the Zombie Sonics hangs in the balance, the Cavs billion dollar front line vacillates between setting records and getting worked by Bismack Biyombo. Yet the people hear crickets on the NBA feed.
Here's the solution: Free. Joe. House.
Don't relegate Mr. House to golf duty. It's good, but no one cares about golf. House freely admits he minors in the tour but majors in the association. He consistently informs and entertains on all things NBA.
To date, House only appears with Simmons. Don't get me wrong. Bill is the podfather, possibly the NBA podcasting GOAT. There would be no problem with any of this ... if Bill weren't launching a new website AND a new HBO show simultaneously. Setting aside a weekly hour for a hoops pod just isn't happening.
Fortunately House is ready. He's the Kawhi to Simmons' Duncan. Give him 20 shots a game. Let him host solo. Give him guests. Time to turn over the keys to the franchise and unleash Mr House as the semi-official host of the NBA feed.
