Mismatch
I’ve learned a lot listening to Chris and Kevin. I appreciate Kevin’s sharing his family’s challenges and speaking out about non-basketball issues too. Sad that some listeners would prefer to have their heads in the sand. Not super into this new show with Raja and Logan. I think it’s important to have black voices, and I like the player perspective, but some of their takes have been screwy. I appreciate that Vernon gently corrected the “Nash hiring is racist” take the next day (e.g. with the fact that Nash was effectively selected by the Nets two black superstars, and the long list of black and white no-experience hires over the last 40 years). On The Mismatch, when one host has a screwy take, the other jumps in. Raja and Logan need to be more willing to disagree. RIP Heat Check. Haley and Tjarks should have their own show.

This is one of my favorites from The Ringer. I like the rotating hosts and the content is fun and entertaining. I only wish there were more episodes each week.
