Hit and Miss
Listened to all episodes through the Peter Dinklage one. There have been some good moments in the early episodes, but overall the humor has been cringey and poor. I don’t know if I smiled once during the ghost episode. I was actually frowning towards the end of the Peter Dinklage one because the writers chose to beat this “soundboard” humor to death for 30 minutes instead of having an intelligently funny conversation with an incredible actor. This was an insanely wasted episode. The side comments and disgust from Carolina were acceptable for a while, but now it’s become irritating to have her interject almost every single thing Ron says. My other big complaint is sound, as I’ve seen in other reviews. I’m constantly having to raise and lower volume to listen to whispers and turn down the yelling throughout these podcasts. Please fix this if you want any longevity in listeners. At least through April 14th, this is not a must-listen podcast in the slightest. I’m a big fan of Will Ferrell and Anchorman-style humor, and hope the podcast can find this again.
