New Zealand ultra runner Harita Davies has completed the world’s longest footrace, the Sri Chinmoy Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race, three times. It’s an amazing feat of not only physical but mental endurance, as it circles the same Queens, NY block 5,649 times. This year she smashed her previous record, finishing in 50 days. The key to Harita’s success is her long-standing meditation practice.
