The WBBL|08 season wrapped up in spectacular fashion at North Sydney Oval as the Adelaide Strikers captured their first ever WBBL title! But there's no rest for Australia's premier cricketers, with the Aussie women's team setting sail for India on Sunday to play five T20s that will serve as crucial preparation for the T20 World Cup in February.
Joining hosts Em and LJ on the Scoop this week is Heather Graham, one of three additions to Australia's squad to travel to India. Heather shares the story of being on the bus with her Hurricanes teammates when she got the call from national selector Shawn Flegler, what it's been like watching her partner Em Smith transition from cricket to life as an AFLW player, as well as shares her thoughts on how the Hurricanes can build on a promising WBBL|08 season.
