“I love Alice Workman. I’ve listened to all of her previous podcasts from the Silent Majority up to The Scruntineers. But this self-serving episode is so obviously about justifying the outrageous, one eyed pro-LNP bias the Australian has been running for YEARS, but has most recently been called out on with the Shorten’s mum story. I’m sorry to hear Alice has now been pulled into this farce. I used to love reading the Australian, but haven’t been able to stomach its poison for years. This episode doesn’t in anyway recover its reputation or justify its position. And if this podcast series is to continue, I hope Alice’s Joie de Vivre, humour and intelligence is allowed full sway, as in previous shows eg Is it on. Otherwise I predict, the Scrutineers will go in the same direction as the Australian’s sale figures. So sad and disappointing”
