Black women should seriously listen to this!
This is truly a wonderful and much needed podcast. I’m Haitian-American and a surgery resident. That is to say I have a pretty different life than most of the guest stars on this show, who are mainly in the entertainment world. But their messages are so true, raw, and uplifting, anyone can relate and benefit from them. I love that there are some day to day, but very important, topics that are addressed: like drink more water, what exactly is the definition of self care. This is in addition to some of the big big themes we should all think about and discuss, such as being the only black face in the room, love in the black community, and (one that hit me to the core) being afraid of success. I do hope you will have guests from other fields on the show. But bottom line, I’m so glad that I stumbled onto this by accident. Keep up the great work!
