"Meh" storytelling, choppy production, and trashy with low-budget ASMR-ish mouth noises
The story/editing is a hard to follow and while the storytelling is decent, it's not nearly as good as Alone: A Love Story. I'm still trying to figure out why iTunes notified me there was a new episode of Alone when this is so different. It's hard to like this main character. Unlike Michelle Parise's brand of narratorial self deprecation and sometimes uncomfortable emotional honesty, it's hard to get behind this main character who's a self-described slobby, dirty, unshaven, overly-emotional woman who ALSO cheats on her significant others. Trash. Deleting midway through Episode 4.Read full review »

This is a true heartfelt and honest piece of art. The only thing I regret is that I listened to it too fast and now it’s over. 😩

Kaitlin Prest and her band of creatives do off-kilterness and radical honesty and really hardcore devotion to craft at the same time so well. I think the start is maybe a teensy bit slow, so give it a few minutes and let it envelop you. :)
