    Episode 5 - Male Narcissists

    Episode 5 - Male Narcissists

This episode discusses narcissism in men and how it manifests in everyday life. Grandiose narcissists are the most stereotypical type, characterised by an inflated sense of self-importance and a constant need for validation and attention. Vulnerable narcissists, on the other hand, have a fragile sense of self-worth and are easily hurt by criticism. High functioning narcissists are more subtle, often coming off as confident and charming but still have a need for narcissistic supply. The speaker concluded by stressing the importance of understanding these different types of narcissism in order to identify and address any issues that may arise.

People pleasing and high functioning narcissism are closely related and it can be difficult to spot the narcissistic traits in high functioning narcissists. They are often successful and charming and present themselves as likable and empathetic people. They are highly skilled at manipulating and exploiting people for their own needs and desires. An example of a high functioning narcissist could be a successful businessman who is well liked by his colleagues but manipulative and exploitative in his personal relationships.

This podcast is not intended for people to diagnose others but to help listeners understand the traits of narcissism, so that they can navigate through certain situations in a work or family environment. Narcissistic men often have a sense of entitlement, believing that they are above others and deserve special treatment. The purpose of this podcast is to help people better understand the people around them and how to address certain mental health aspects they may come across.

    Episode 4 - Female Narcissists

    Episode 4 - Female Narcissists

This is one episode that I was not keen to record, and after recording, it stayed in draft for over a month because I am not sure if the positive intention will be received. However, it is here.  It is not a message to destroy, to tear down or to demean.  The intention with this episode is to enlighten so that we can all make positive changes. With that said - here is episode 4, Female Narcissists.

Episode 3 - Narcissists in Relationships

Episode 3 - Narcissists in Relationships

We are going right back into it. We understand what narcissists desire - a fix - but do we possess the knowledge to understand how this will manifest itself in relationships?  This is what this episode will explore.  It is longer format than usual that seeks to understand how narcissistic tendencies can manifest themselves and what we can be on the look out for.

Hopefully as we listen, we will all introspect and understand what role we play in the way we shape our relationships i.e. do we perhaps possess some traits that are destroying our relationships because we have prioritised them to serve our needs unhealthily?  I look forward to engaging with you on this topic.  This episode will lead to the next - somatic and cerebral in relationships.

    Episode 2 - Narcissistic Supply

    Episode 2 - Narcissistic Supply

You have heard of the narcissistic personality disorder (or narcissism) and probably how it has left many people who experienced narcissist emotionally distraught. Life would have been left slightly better if no one had to deal with them. Unfortunately we are not in a world where we can completely avoid narcissists.  Even with that said, with the availability of information and knowledge we can equip ourselves with the necessary tools to understand narcissism and ways in which it can affect us.

"...narcissistic supply is a pathological or excessive need for attention or admiration from codependents, or such a need in the orally fixated, that does not take into account the feelings, opinions or preferences of other people." [Wikipedia; accessed July 2021]

If we understand the narcissistic supply then we are already in a better position to identify all forms of relationships which have a toxic element through manipulation by someone who possesses narcissistic traits.  This episodes explains (in brief) how the narcissistic supply operates and will feature greatly in future episodes when we explore narcissism in romantic relationships and in parenting.

Episode 1 - Narcissism and the Faith (Doctrine of Self Worship)

Episode 1 - Narcissism and the Faith (Doctrine of Self Worship)

In this episode we discuss how narcissism (or the narcissistic personality disorder) manifests itself in believers and why we need to address it.  There are examples of this which are related to scriptures as well.  Although narcissism id defined according to the medical or psychological definition, the examples are scripture.

As this is still the introduction, the idea is to create familiarity to narcissism for those that have not read up on or studied it before.  The message is short and light-hearted but the impact is life vs death. The message from Hebrew - make a meaningful change in your life! The power is in the word and in your heart.

I hope you enjoy, shalom shalom.

    Season 1 Trailer

    Season 1 Trailer

Season one will focus on mental health issues that can affect how believers, the true Hebrews walk before the most High.  The intention is to identify aspects that develop in people which eventually inhibit them from being who they are commanded to be through the scriptures.
Narcissism and Chronic complaining will receive particular focus as we investigate how these issues manifest themselves in daily lives; while we also conclude by discussing solutions.
