Montreal’s Vishal Kassie, known in the music world as You Are My Symphonic, describes himself as a laptop-based orchestra. Kassie’s computer, the heart of this music, was stolen hours after arriving in Toronto for a brief stay. With nothing but ideas and memories remaining, You Are My Symphonic built a brand new album from scratch. Now, the results are in.
