I’m not a parent but I’ve found so much clarity, calm and a safe space to learn from listening to this podcast. Starting when in my 20’s, this podcast has taught me the life skills I’ve needed to be the parent I didn’t have, and how to be a support to my partner and parents. Thank you Kim, you...Read full review »

A must-listen podcast for parents of young kids to teens. It’s a soothing balm for the soul for me as a parent. I take what speaks to me and don’t try to do everything prescriptively. Thanks Kim for your great work! Always a pleasure to hear your soothing voice.

I learn something useful in every single episode! They are short and sweet and they make a huge difference when I implement them with my kids. I thought I had heard everything when I read Kim John Payne’s books, but it’s still worth listening to the podcast!

My kids are now 18 and 22 and I STILL refer to Kim’s books. I also run a small soccer club and I LOVE Beyond Winning. All his books help keep me kid/family centered. I check in with the podcast regularly. The soothing voice and common sense support for all developing humans is amazing.

I follow a lot of parenting outlets and I’ve done a fair amount of my own research on the topic of parenting techniques (my daughter is a handful!). This is the best resource I have found. In almost every episode, I have found some straight forward advice that has helped me improve my approach to...Read full review »

Thank you for taking the time to help me through my parenting journey. The information and ideas can easily applied to everyday life. Most the ideas are so simple that I feel I should have seen it before.

Lots of helpful information and gentle reminders. I work with autistic children and these practices apply to and benefit them as well. I didn’t feel any shaming or judgement from this podcast. Nice way to start the day.

The volume is so low on this podcast. I understand your gentle delivery is an appropriate and effective way to demonstrate your insight. But that mixed with the low levels of recording make it almost impossible to hear. Unfortunately, I had to unfollow.

My go-to, I put on a quick episode at breakfast to help put me in the right frame of mind for the day’s homeschooling adventures. I love his calm voice and manner and the way he mostly gets right to the point without all the twaddle

Kim has such a gracious way of delivering incredibly valuable parenting tips. Short, encouraging tidbits for the little things from nap time struggles to sibling rivalry. The practical advice on how to respond and react as a parent have been so helpful.

There is so much judgement, shaming and pressure put on parents. Sadly, this podcast is just another shame-fest. For example, the screen time episode shames family movie night. Not only that, like so much other parenting guidance, the tips often sound helpful, but I have yet to see many of them...Read full review »
