“My hubby couldn't work out why I loved this so much (cos it’s apparently about sport!) until he listened and now he is hooked. Hilarious chat from the gorgeous boys and some great suggestions for docos and books etc.”Read full review »

“Heard the promo when listening to other podcasts.
Will not be listening!!! So many egos congratulating themselves on how funny they are! 🥱😴🥱😴🤯😴That’s for others to say surely!?
Not for me🤮🤮🤮”

“Always enjoyable, but does it really need a 5 minute intro explaining the podcast? On every episode? I nearly didn't get through it on the first listen but glad I persevered.
Would have been 5* if they just cracked on with it. Shouldn't need to skip to the 6th minute for the actual start.”Read full review »

“I’m so late to this it’s embarrassing. I’ve been an Elis James fan for a few years now and have managed to hoover up every episode of his Radio X podcasts with Robins. Stumbled upon the episode of House of Games in which Mike Bubbins was cruelly robbed of a decanter by the chancer Kirsten O’Brien...”Read full review »

“This is not a sports podcast, it’s a comedy pod with sport involved, so its appeal is universal. Two comedians and another bloke joking and enjoying lots of laughs. The humour is infectious and every few episodes there’s a moment that makes me cry with mirth.”

“Mike has just become irritating and the less said about the unfunny other bloke with the incredibly grating laugh (not Elis obvs, but the other one!) the better.”

“In a maddening, saddening world this is an escape to a place where the absurd is called out and eccentricities are celebrated. You can laugh until your tonsils rattle … and sometimes they even mention sport.”

“Was a latecomer to the show after seeing Down The Clubhouse on BT Sport and am catching up on all the episodes from episode one but what a fabulous podcast and great content every week.”

“I usually listen to boring technical cycling and triathlon shows but when I want a laugh this is my go to pod. Never fails to make me belly laugh…..often when I’m doing some stretching and have to stop for fear of a back
Spasm from laughing. Keep up the good work fellas.”

“Started listening during lockdown when it started, 200 episodes later (plus extra spin off pods & live shows) and it’s as funny as ever. Amazed how they still have fresh material after all this time.”

“What to say about this podcast?
I started listening on ep 2 and still look forward to Tuesdays on ep 200 (not counting the movie club/ hoffi pod). I e become knowledgeable about sport I’ve never thought about and am fairly confident I can imagine a million bees. 💛💜”
