“Overall, it’s really good. Dan knows as much about college football as just about anyone. The guy does his research and, for a fan, is extremely knowledgeable. I would say that Ty is very likable, but a casual fan who repeats most popular/conventional opinions. You can tell that Dan is glued to the tv on Saturdays...Ty might check in for a little while after the leaves are raked. When the two of them do disagree, which is rare, Ty is generally on the losing side of the argument and is quick to move on to the next subject. I would say that the big thing this podcast is missing is the cultural side of college football, which is what separates college football from the NFL and most other sports...and a big part of the reason that the die-hards are die-hards. They tend to stick to the games and the news surrounding the teams, conferences, CFP, etc. It would be great if they could get into more of the cultural aspects of the game, including traditions, places, stadiums, food, fans, road trips, etc.”
