Football Theatre of the Mind…
You two are the very best at this—so much better than any other CFB podcast or even broadcast, really: because of two clear Super Powers: 1. You love each other and enjoy the interplay: I know. I’ve heard every broadcast since 2009, and enjoyed your off-season rambles into Dunzo and RPG shows: which are brilliant. 2. Transitions: I taught theatre and Improv for 30 years, the basic rule of building Improv Comedy is to respond to your partner “Yes, and….” You two do this instinctively in your own ways, leaving you no down moments: you both flirt with the microphone and set each other up. When Dan says “How’s your thumb feel, Ty?” “Thumb Feels Good, Dan” “Then hit that button and Lock it up!” It’s just great showmanship! You two could have a Medicine show Wagon selling snake oil throughout the west in 1885 and the act would work. These are times to try men’s souls. But we appreciate you both. My life would be less rich without Ty’s rants at the end of ND losses or the various heartbreaks of America’s Ducks and how Dan responds. Thank you both.

I think Chris Brown needs to cough up that fifth star. Dan an Ty are dropping college football knowledge and some occasional off topic nonsense (read: hibachi grill) from a fan's perspective.Read full review »
