In this final episode, Maria will be delighted by Lylya's progress and later will come across and old acquaintance. She will be given an offer she can't refuse and will be forced to choose a new path.

Lylya finds comfort and security from an unexpected source and later reveals a startling ability. Todd and Maria are confronted by the wheelers, compelled to reveal the family secret and are faced with an unforeseen reaction.   

Maria is finally told what it is everyone has been doing behind her back. She meets Lylya for the first time. Old acquaintances are stirred and awakened by a picture on the cover of a magazine. Lylya finds herself confounded by the strange new life she has been pulled into. 

 The mums commander and chief intervene in Todd and Maria's plight. The photographer refuses a new assignment. Maria finally confronts Todd

Maria and the group encounter unexpected trials on the mountain. The photographer is revisited.

  With the help of the Wheelers, Maria resolves to leave Todd and go it alone. Gladys is summoned to a special meeting with President Heber Taft Hatfield and later becomes acquainted with an orphaned Chechen child named Lylya.   

  Todd and Maria will forge a new friendship. Maria and Stacey will find themselves close up and personal with CreutzJake and a startling confession from Debby threatens to put an end to Todd and Maria’s Marriage.  

Lylya and Kheda will learn what the Cossacks have in store for them and Kheda will pay the price for defiance. Lylya will be told a mind numbing secret of biblical proportions and will at last reach her journeys end… a place of unimaginable horror. Maria will be confronted by yet another stranger on the mountain.  

  Todd and Maria entertain visitors to their mountain cabin, some welcome and some not so much. Lylya, Kheda and Sharpuddin begin a journey they will come to regard as a bitter trail of tears.   

A photographer sent to photograph “the rickies” stumbles into the last place on earth he ever intended to be. Todd and Maria finally find their true marital bliss and Lylya, along with her two cousins Kheda and Sharpuddin, bear witness to an unspeakable atrocity.
