If you want to know more about movies, music, storytelling, or history there really is no better place to start…or continue. I cannot recommend this podcast enough, both for quality and content. This is true artistic education. To misquote Mike Nesmith, LISTEN TO THE PODCAST!!

I listen to a lot of podcasts, and I have to say that this one is my favorite. It is unique, engaging and so well produced! My go-to for road trips. I grew up on John Williams and love all the episodes on his music, but I gotta say- the Howard Shore/LOTR episodes are probably my favorite. As an...Read full review »

I heard The Soundtrack Show for the first time and i was like… This is amazing. I love how David goes into so much detail, and that anyone can understand what he’s saying. My Mum and Dad also like it! Keep up the great work.

I’ve listened to almost all the episodes and I always look forward to the next one. It’s one of my favorite podcasts. Thank you for all the work you put into this. I’ve revisited some of the movies with new eyes and ears after listening to your commentary on the music. We watched E.T. last night.

I just adore this show. It’s a rare podcast that elevates as it entertains. Accessible to people (like me) with no training in music or music theory. Full of an insider’s stories about films and filmmakers that you probably already know and love.

David is amazing at his breakdown and insights into the soundtracks that have loved for so long. He began the podcast with information in music that I use while listening to all movies now. He breaks down the sound, notes tones that obliterate or uplift, create suspense and amaze. “The...Read full review »

David W. Collins is a Maestro at interpreting the magic of THE MAESTRO HIMSELF, John Williams’ scores. His love of the subject comes through loud and clear, as does his music and film knowledge. He truly helps you re-live these films. The 3 part E.T. Shows had me tearing up. Brilliant work. ...Read full review »

David takes us behind the movies in a way that enhances any rewatch of the movies covered. I saw ET when it came out as a seven year old. This soundtrack is probably the most brilliant ever written. Than you David for helping us the movie even more!

It’s great to have David back! The way he breaks down a score - note by note , is pretty mind blowing. I’ve learned a lot just from listening, and re-re-listening to his episodes. There’s plenty of great content here; “Star Wars”, “Zelda” and “Lord of the Rings” are outstanding episodes.
