Where Has Steve Been? Shelterwood: A Suburban Gothic

Why hello again dear listener! It has been quite some time. And what have the boys been up to? Well, we're glad you asked:
Shelterwood: A Suburban Gothic is a 16-part Docu-Horror Podcast written and produced by Stephen Indrisano. The show centers around one man’s quest to find his long-lost sister in an infinite, monster-infested suburb beyond the veil. With primary inspirations like The Black Tapes, Silent Hill 2, and Limetown, Shelterwood will be one part Gothic, one part Found Footage, and one hundred percent terrifying. There's a ton of Stephen King influence in here, and we think you'd really enjoy it. Check out the campaign at bit.ly/shelterwoodpod for more details!

Great podcast

This podcast hooked me on Stephen King books I’m on my fourth book after reading the long walk the green mile and Carrie now I’m trucking through Salem’s lot

Glorious

I’ve been listening semi-regularly since the Salem’s Lot episode, since then I have actually read my first King book (Carrie) and unfortunately entered into a cycle of keeping up and then falling behind. But with all the times I’ve fallen behind on this podcast, coming back to it is a goddamn joy each and every last time! The gags! The ribbing! The sheer absurd concept of existing in the northeast! The literature analysis is so much fun and I was actually sad when the needful themes time limit was introduced (although it sure does add a frantic academic energy which makes up for it), and the sweet screams section demonstrates some of the best parts of reading books with your friends: getting overly dramatic and losing your mind over genre literature. 11/10, I’m so pumped for the next part of It and I’m bracing myself for Christine (because god knows I’m never gonna finish that book).
