“Being local to Aberdeen & remembering this horrific case I was intrigued to listen to this podcast. Isla was a junior reporter for the local paper at the time & this was one of the first murder cases she worked on. She has maintained a close relationship with the family of Melanie & has put this together to mark the 20th anniversary. It does contains some quite graphic descriptions but she delivers it with professionalism & sensitivity, without sensationalising a very sad story. She also gives a real insight into the work of the police, their line of enquires, interviews with the solicitor representing the accused & the effects on the family & friends of both Melanie & Pamela. Good job Isla!!”
