Excellent
A very human story of a real murder in Aberdeen in 1999. Unlike other true crime stories Isla Traquair humanises what was/is a dramatic event in her life but importantly in the lives of those directly involved. This is a passionate story told by those involved, not simply a narrated script. Melanie Sturton’s murder was pointless & the killer ruthless. Her Mother, Susan Patrick, and the family have been so brace to be so heavily involved. It is also a testament to the professionals involved in the case that they made themselves available for interview and provided a vast amount of information. This is a true story, well told with extra bonus episodes to fully tell the story, which you cannot fail to become emotionally engrossed in.

I’ve listened to a lot of true crime podcasts and none of...Read full review »

She has maintained a close relationship with the family of Melanie &...Read full review »
