Ever since I was two, I've been telling stories.

And ever since I was two, the most productive conversations of my life have been about one thing, and one thing alone.

Creativity.

What makes people tick? How do peopel find their creative flow? And how on earth do you make something as complicated and intricate and fascinating as a novel, or a design, or a piece of art, actually work in the real world?

My name is Nathan Coe. I'm 17, I'm young, and I'm the author of an uocoming novella (title coming soon!). I decided to set out on a bit of a quest to interview people older than me—creatives in their field—to get to the answer to one thing: how does creativity actually work? And how can we use that understanding to improve our own relationship with creativity, practically, in the real world?

Creativity is filled with mysteries, secrets, and connections even creators themselves don't fully understand. This is my attempt to understand creativity as a career, and create a field guide, a road map, as series of interesting jumping-off points, into how creativity works, what it is, and how to access it to the fullest ability. It's my own personal journey to understand the mysterious and strange alchemy that is creativity—and I hope you'll join me on the adventure.
