“First the review of the new version of the show. The show was all over the place and lacked focus. I found Gruber's audio okay at best and his guest's John Moltz's was terrible. One of their sponsor's apparently was the app they used to record the program. I sure will never purchase that app! Second, with respects to John Gruber leaving 5by5, that is his choice. I am sorry if him and Dan had a falling out. As a fan of the show that spent 100s of hours listening to them over the years - I feel some explanation is warranted and deserved to the loyal fans who tuned in, week after week. The one star review is for both a poor episode and also for the breakup. I will tune in again to see if it gets better, but if it does not - I will not continue listening. If that happens myself and other fans, have lost something that had been great for many years.”Read full review »
