Karolij Seles anyone? C’mon David the 90s. Even Richard Williams didn’t produce such a buzzsaw # 1

Long time listener who feels moved to share my thoughts. Catherine is a very talented broadcaster, but indulges herself too much with increasing discussion of her political hobby-horses. I appreciate that she feels strongly about these things, but I really really wish she (and I must say also...Read full review »

Great insight on Novak… yep - still not a fan. Still love Goran though.

Complete virtue signaling nonsense. The three hosts are more interested in heavily promoting their own politically correct agendas than analysis of the sport. Catherine Whitaker is like a political party with only one platform. She views everything through the lens of her idea of feminism....Read full review »

If you’re looking for thoughtful adults to provide fun and engaging analysis on tennis, this is it. Catherine is a great host, and the big/brother little/sister relationship between her and David (along with the years they’ve worked together) really makes it feel like a family. Throw in young...Read full review »

I love this podcast and never miss it. David, Catherine and Matt make me feel like I’m sitting in the pub with them after a great day watching tennis. When they go to tournaments, I feel like I’m with them. Can’t wait for their TTP Community to launch.

Generally good content and insights but sometimes they spend too much time complaining about stuff.

This used to be not just a thoroughly enjoyable tennis podcast, but podcast in general. However I unsubscribed a while ago, unable to listen any further due to the ever increasing “We know better than anybody else” attitude of the two main presenters in particular. Something often highlighted...Read full review »

I’ve been listening to David, Catherine and Matt for three years. They’re chemistry is fantastic and always puts me in a wonderful mood. I look forward to their podcasts, live shows and weekly newsletters. They are the best!

I have loved and listened to this podcast for years and never miss an ep but I have to say that it has started annoying me more and more. There is a serious group think going on.... Catherine Whittaker says something and Matt and David agree. They have their favourites and don't we know it! A...Read full review »

I enjoy listening to the trio - they have a good rapport and a funny British sense of humour. I don’t think any of them have played much tennis though and that comes through when they talk matches and tactics. But still my favourite for the fun and humour.

Enough with the politics. Stick to the tennis.

The obsession with Women’s tennis´ lesser popularity has become too irritating for me. I don’t remember this being so prevalent in earlier episodes. Most watchers prefer men’s tennis, get over it and discuss the matches please not the conversation. If Rennae Stubbs podcast can do it you can.

I’ve been a listener for six years now and I love this show more with each passing year. It perfectly balances day to day match and player analysis with longer term structural criticism of the sport. It has great insider access to key people within the game, but retains an independence to raise...Read full review »

More tennis commentary than tennis journalism. Pretty good listen but I wouldn’t say there is anything hard hitting about this podcast. Also the hosts love to name drop.

Especially during slams, even when I watch every ATP/WTA singles match I’m invested in, follow all of the news, and engage in all of the gossip on Tennis Twitter, I can still rely on learning something new and enjoying humorous, expert insight every single evening with the gang. Can’t stand the time wasted on what is practically virtue signalling. The ATP should be making statements on things which are against the law already - really?? Do we need to hear their stance on immigration? Or global warming? On doping in cycling? And then ten minutes of “we can’t not mention...Read full review »

I absolutely love this podcast. I started listening in late 2018 on my honeymoon, back when Matt was Grad Matt and I’ve been hooked ever since. I look forward to every new episode they put out and i love the fun relationship these three clearly have.

I’ve re-fallen in love with tennis as a result of these three lovely people. They’re interesting, funny, authentic, knowledgeable and ethical. I never miss an episode, and I don’t have a lot of time to listen so that’s quite an achievement!

Whether on the podcast or on Twitter, David and Catherine always seem to feel the need to attack players for no reason. Snobby and mean spirited people.

Will give 2 stars only bc it’s about tennis. What a snobby pod. The happiest David Lawless and co have been to mention Canada is in a pre tape for a shady investment ad for Canadian listeners only. Otherwise you wouldn’t know that Canada are current holders of Billie Jean King and Davis cups from...Read full review »

Despite what they’ll have you believe this is not an insightful tennis podcast for serious tennis people. It’s mainly waffle and I know a bunch of people who have unfollowed. What happened to the Tennis Podcast? It pains me to say that Catherine’s ego diminishes the once lively banter.
