The Pugcast is produced by The Logos Center and features Dr. Thomas Price, Dr. Glenn Sunshine, and Pr. C. R. Wiley. The Pugcast is recorded at The Corner Pug--a well-known watering hole in tony West Hartford, Connecticut. (Hence the name, "pugcast"--also the reason there is so much background noise.) The show could be described as "3 over-educated Reformed guys riffing on philosophy, theology, and stuff that bugs them." Each episode they invite you to take a seat in their booth and listen in on their conversation.

Lewis said, “Reason is the natural organ of understanding, but imagination is the organ of meaning.” "Working off Holly Ordway's book "Apologetics and the Christian Imagination," the guys discuss what imagination is, how it connects to meaning, and how it is foundational to reason. They also discuss the role of imagination in Lewis’s conversion, the “good dreams” of paganism, and how these things can help lead people to Christ.

Immodesty and the Image of God
As new forms of immodesty become fashionable and impact our everyday wolds in innumerable ways, dimensions of what is broken in us often remain what is 'hidden' or ignored. Tom and the guys engage this topic, especially from the insight that as image bearers we are imitative by nature, and when this is broken in us, we imitate badly, and also want to be imitated in our broken image.

Darwinian Conservative
I watched this offering and really liked it. Will be glad when it shows up here. I noticed in YouTube a show called After Skool. They steal ideas ground in the truth that God is creator and ascribe it to Darwin. I thought to myself, they are thieves. They really think the idea of family, conservativism, law, etc are not from God but stem from nature and evolution. I learned of After Skool from PragerU. I am not surprised but I am glad you all spoke on this. I knew what I saw was theft but had no name for it. Thank you.

Listening to this podcast is akin to sitting in on a gathering of The Inklings, though ahead a century and across a pond. Through it I am enriched, enlightened, and encouraged to pursue the good, the true, and the beautiful in the here and now.
