Turning the Times into The Guardian
Have previously really enjoyed Matt Chorley’s shows plus the Red Box email - but increasingly , two commentators each day, seem to be there to mutually back each other rather than to offer opposing or even slightly opposing views.Rachel Sylvester & David Aronovitch should be writing for The Guardian, not The Times. Libby Purves just backs up Rachel S in a ‘ love-in’. Matt Chorley obviously feels uncomfortable when challenging left-wing views or offering a balance . Take a leaf from Chris Mason and question views rather than trying to garner ‘likes’ Matt.

Fantastic format and review of the weeks' political discussions. Funny and informative with a brilliant diversity of panellists. Just a pity it only lasts 30 minutes and is only once a week. I hope it continues!Read full review »

Look forward to it dropping every week. Matt Chorley is a good host. He is not biased and has a good sense of humor. He and his guests are able to discuss important issues in such a way that both SW1 insiders and political neophytes will find it informative.
