Interesting guests, lightweight host
I subscribe to The Times and find its coverage broad minded and intelligent. This podcast is frustrating because the subject matter is often interesting but it is regularly undermined by the whinnying ninny who hosts it. Chorley's tendency is all too often towards the low blow and a cheap giggle. If the BBC produced such braying, smug nonsense for political analysis they would (quite rightly) be pilloried. Disappointing.Read full review »

More reviews of Politics Without The Boring Bits
Recently starting listening to the podcast as the daily Red Box email was a must read during the EU referendum (and remains so). Was prompted to review after listening to the first in the new series of podcasts with Whips. I very much recommend it.

Intelligent commentary on the cut and thrust of policts but what makes it interesting is the analysis and insight on the deeper currents. Less 'liberal' or 'conservative' than measured and thoughful.Read full review »

I always enjoy it but the interviews with the whips are especially fascinating. Great idea, and full marks to them for doing it
