“A riveting listen, and an important journey. Should be required listening in British schools... Well-recommended. I fully understand Hamza’s ambivalence about belonging although for different reasons.
On a different note, I also well-remember growing up in Birmingham (1970s) a boy telling me that he went out “paki-bashing”. I was shocked, but did not express it, to my lasting regret.”

“3 episodes down and I’m still not into it. They keep playing up the story as though something interesting is about to happen but…nothing interesting. I loved s-town for it’s comical idiosyncrasies, so this one is a big let down.”
