Sensitive, nuanced, well done!
This podcast far exceeded my expectations, and made me think anew about this horrible tragedy from 40 years ago. Amanda Knox carefully structures the tale: back story, lead-up, and then the tragedy itself. Her work here must have entailed many hours of selection and editing behind the scenes, and it’s all brought masterfully together, yet without being heavy-handed in its approach. Great job, and well worth the time.

Good podcast, but not sure why you needed to get political. Not sure how that was relevant or appropriate. Stopped listening as soon as you went there.

I was enjoying this until Jim Jones Jr had to compare Trump to Jim Jones as a demagogue. He just exhibited the same intolerance and hatred that his father displayed. Of course Amanda doesn’t challenge him on such a ridiculous claim. Too bad.

Thought season one was really good. Amanda has a great voice and does a good job interviewing. In the seasons following one, she makes a lot of comparisons to her case, which takes away some from the stories. There are also some political undertones which can polarizing.
