“I love listening to true crime podcasts but often find myself rolling my eyes at how uptight or green the hosts either pretend to be or actually are when talking about these stories and often come off as newscast-y… but The Underworld is different. It’s a refreshing combo of fantastically informed and dedicated sourcing co-hosts who talk about these topics without putting on some type of buttoned up approach to the topic. It’s like talking about these cases with friends… if my friends were super intelligent and allegedly as funny as me.”
