An imitation of its past self
Mistaking snark for wit, the podcast has lost its footing. The hosts now senselessly repeat the things that made the show famous, like totems designed to desperately build its former identity into a “Brand”. They seem to believe that negativity as a default is cool and enthusiasm ironically amped to 11 is engaging. Bleeding after Dieter left, once Nilay is gone it will be dead.
