“I am so glad you have continued your show from your homes. We are all isolating at home, just like you are. I heard an American woman on our CBC, national radio system, talk about the bill she received after she recovered from a full blown case of Covid, weeks in an ICU, ambulance costs etc. It was astronomical! The ambulance alone was $2,000, and she did not have health insurance.
How about a discussion on the cost of this disease to the ordinary person, without health care.
Maybe some of the people who want to open up their
local economy would listen to a dollar and cent argument.”
