“The Vocal Fries is such a wonderful show. Megan and Carrie go from strength to strength with insightful guests and topics. They’ve opened my mind to the nuances of so many aspects of linguistic discrimination that I had never considered before (even as someone who studies this at doctoral level!) I’d recommend it to everyone. It’s more than just a “language” podcast for people learning new languages or interested in linguistics - it’s an amazing vehicle to help us navigate and acknowledge personal and subconscious biases based on language that we don’t even know we have. Keep up the good work!”
