The Whisky Topic Episode 7: Infuse, Pair, and Cook with Whisky

This bonus episode has been brought to you by Johnnie Walker. Whisky is one of the more complex drinks in the world. We bring on Chef Matt Jones to talk about the three main elements to use whisky—pairing whisky with food, infusing whisky with ingredients, and cooking with whisky. Unlike wine pairings, which look for similarities, with whisky it’s all about finding the right contract.

Mark, Jamie, plus guests equal a fantastic show

Mark and Jamie alone are quite entertaining (and are the reason I have found my favorite in loding in the country, The Beaumont Inn in Harrodsburg). But the guests they get on are both equally entertaining as well as incredibly knowledgable. One can be reliably sure that when a guest name appears in the title of the show that the guest has a deep connection to some facet of the whiskey (whisky) industry.

Here's to at least four more years of fantastic shows and excellent recommendations!
