The guest on this day almost made the episode unlistenable

This podcast is the perfect blend of characters, education, entertainment and cleanliness of editing. (Mostly 😂) I’m a winemaker and winegrower outside of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Finding value in podcasts that I can use in the Midwest is challenging as we don’t grow vinifera. Listening to Sam and...Read full review »

This has quickly become my favorite wine podcast. I got behind on episodes by a few weeks, due to some traveling, and caught up today. I really enjoy each episode. I’m learning a lot and I keep adding to my list of wines to find and try. Thanks for giving me a bit of Sonoma (and Napa) here on the...Read full review »

This show has genuine personality and the guests on the show bring you into REAL wine country, at a time where we all long to travel and enjoy Sonoma culture once again… I’ve been listening for 4 years now and hope they continue producing this incredible podcast.

These guys are so much fun to listen to and they also provide real time information as to how harvest is going and all of the nuances in the industry. They are also honest about balancing the desire to to the right thing and making a living. It provides a platform for lesser known wineries and...Read full review »

I enjoy listening to these guys, although they occasionally lose focus (which can happen when you’re loving the wines). I’ve discovered many of my favorite Sonoma producers through the show, and have made friends with several of them. Keep it coming!

I’m having so much fun listening to these guys. I feel like I’m hanging out with them as I would friends of mine. They are knowledgeable and curious but don’t take themselves too seriously. I learn about cool small wine producers I wouldn’t have discovered otherwise. And bonus...they love Rhone...Read full review »

Entertaining wine-centric podcast from a foursome of characters and their excitable dogs. Regular interviews typically feature boutique micro wineries. Bart Hansen represents the winemaker side of the podcast as he regularly recounts the everyday challenges of making Chenin. Brian Casey is a...Read full review »

Hard to write a review, other than to say it is a great podcast. Whatever that means to an individual listener is rather subjective. But if you like wine and all that surrounds wine, then this is a great listen. And while it is Sonoma-County-specific, it is first about wine. From vineyard to...Read full review »

I look forward to listening every week. They have turned me on to some great wineries, including their own Sixteen 600 & Dane Cellars. Excellent content but the audio levels don’t make for the easiest listening - some voices are really loud and some I can barely hear. Really interesting conversations with passionate people.

Most Saturdays I sit down and grab a glass 🍷and listen to my favorite podcast The Wine Makers 🍇🍷! I completely enjoy this podcast. The balance of their wine knowledge and their fun loving personalities is perfect. They discuss specific wine making concepts without sounding snobbish and without talking down to people. I love that they actually talk about technical aspects of wine.
