Unique ability to make us feel seen
Some episodes in particular- ex. The Seth Perler and girls w ADHD ones- have been key moments in my relationship w my teen. She has not been open to discussing any feelings or vulnerabilities but after convincing her to hear a bit of these episodes- which led to hearing all of them- she was able to see herself for the first time as a whole, loveable person. We understood how deeply our relationship was influenced by her then undiagnosed neurodiversity. It led to a path to diagnosis and treatment that has allowed her to blossom.
