Hilarious and Snarky
It's so fun to tune in and listen to Kait and Renata rip bad books apart. They come at books with a feminist perspective and take in factors like how the book treats race, gender, class, and ability. I have so many books that I want to read that it's fun to hear about books that I can definitely omit from my To Read list! That being said, the hosts are extremely well-read (that'll happen when you're a librarian and/or book enthusiast), especially with comics and YA novels, and so there are plenty of good book recommendations to be had as well.Read full review »

Terrible audio quality (laptop mics are simply not acceptable for a podcast), a distracting and unfunny amount of laughing at each other’s non-jokes, and (this is just me) a teeth-grating “like whatever” accent.
