pointless
I subscribed for about five minutes, then I listened to some of what they were saying. It was completely summary, no new insite, no real news about theater. Things I could fine online in 20 seconds. Extremely boring and pretty worthless, and most of all: a disappointment.
What an asset!
It's great to hear the reviews/stories from these fantsatic writers' mouths. Their enthusiasm, or lack thereof depending on the piece, is entertaining and enjoyable to listen to. Keep 'em coming!
Great Idea Wrong Voice
While I'm excited about the prospect of critical reviews of NY Theater, these two are about the most misguided reviewers in the land. If only one could get an honest review and not one tainted by the commercial sensationalism that plagues both their writing and podcasts, I would be thrilled.
Just be warned: Extreme opinions (both positive and negative) sell papers and sell power in the NY theater scene. Brantley needs to get over himself.
