Scarlett Johansson just filed a lawsuit against Disney, claiming that they misled her in regards to the theatrical release of her movie Black Widow. This fight is taking place not only in the courtroom but the press as well with the two sides going back and forth. This week we go over what has been said, how we got here, and whose side we are on. The delta variant is now the dominant COVID-19 variant in the US. It accounts for 83% of US cases of coronavirus and is about 60% more contagious than the first variant. Fortunately, the research shows the vaccine is effective against this strain, unfortunately, not enough people are getting the shot. This week we talk about the reasons for vaccine hesitancy, its effect on the current pandemic, and the best way to help convince more people to get shots in arms.
