This has been my favorite podcast for years. I always turn to when I’m going on a long run, or a car drive, when I feel like I need a new perspective, or want to learn something new. I’m saddened to see have to let this go. Katy, you’ve done a remarkable job over these last couple of years. You...Read full review »

With this podcast coming to an end, I’m finding myself thinking back to when it first started. I’ve been an avid listener and follower of yours for so, so long. This used to be my go-to podcast during my commute to college internship and now what I happily listen to in the early stages of my...Read full review »

As I continue to listen, some ads repeat, they are all thrown into the beginning of the pod and then sprinkled throughout the episode. You put a lot of effort into the content, please redo how you place your ads. Better transition would be great. Again, just my feedback.

I think this is my fav episode you have created so far! I’d love to see more like this in the future 🤍

Just started listening to this, and had to go back and look for more. She has a nice voice and I enjoy hearing her talk about her introspection and her thought/feeling process. She speaks and articulates her thoughts well and as if she’s had some professional training, though her job doesn’t...Read full review »

Obsessed with this. It feels so easy and like I’m listening to a friend. I love the history stories, it’s really cool learning about everything she talks about. It’s almost like a mini audio docuseries plus some gal chat. It’s one of my favorite podcasts!

I used to LOVE this pod. Was my fav and I loved the rambling diary entries but WOW is so jumbled. It’s hard to keep up. Please gather your thoughts. I also hate when privileged white girls in there 20s try to become motivational speakers.

I don’t know why everyone try’s to attack Katy… the beauty of this podcast is the lack of structure, it’s a thought experiment and if you don’t get that then sorry!! The content is just the right amount of crafted she has a topic but she runs with it and I think thats awesome. She’s putting...Read full review »

One thing I like about Katy's podcast is that they are so relatable and that's what I like. I also like that she focuses more on the content and she has some very interesting trivia at times. Keep up the good work! I give this one a 5/5.Read full review »

The “finding your passion” episode with the history lesson of Marie Curie, her career journey and lasting legacy tied in with the modern analysis of finding our passion & our niche was absolutely brilliant. Katy is super eloquent with her thoughts and the episodes are super prepared, which I...Read full review »

I used to be obsessed with this podcast but I find myself getting lost when ads interrupt the story. I wish the ad placements were a bit more separated whether it was saying “shoutout to the sponsors that make this podcast possible” before ad reads or separating it with tunes like other...Read full review »

It’s funny how the person whom you relate to the most has no idea you even exist! Katy gets me more than anyone in my life does.

Personally feel like 80% of the episodes are filled with unrelated ramblings and ads. Not much actual content relating to the titles.
Whaddupgurl via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/05/22
The history component of this podcast is what made it great. Now it’s just been conscious ramblings of insecurity. Which is fine but if that’s going to be the new theme of the podcast going forward..it was good until it wasn’t. It used to be history filled and relatable. Now not so much.
DaniCurlyq via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/03/22
No bloody way she’s saying her sponsors actually are useful. I know all of said sponsors and she’s full of - you know what. And seriously 70% of the podcast is ads these days. This girl was nice to listen to in the beginning but judging from the number of ads, she needs to stop sponsoring...Read full review »

I found this podcast a couple years ago through another podcast that I listened to at the time and I am so thankful that I did! I love that you mix life in the present and lessons from the past. This is an amazing podcast! I’ve listened to almost every single episode! I’m catching up from 2020 haha!

I really enjoy the premise of this podcast, all of the stories and history Katy shares. But the amount of ads is almost unbearable. For a show that is already short, there shouldn’t be this many ads. And the same ones are repeated over and over again which makes it hard to even want to listen.

I came across this podcast when Katy first started and have looked forward to listening to every episode since! Katy does a great job of mixing lifestyle, advice, history, and interesting stories in her podcast episodes! Definitely give this one a listen🥰🙌🏻

Katy — I loved watching you on YT and your stories on IG are super entertaining and intellectual but you’ve added a whole other element of your personality and creative spirit with Thick & Thin. So happy I decided to pick up listening to podcasts again and started with yours 🙏🥂

So many ads all over and it’s the same ones it’s so annoying to have to skip through Plz organize your pod to how it used to be it’s annoying to be listening and randomly have a ad cut in

I’ve listened to Katy’s podcast since the beginning and loved it. But recently there have been soooo many ads during the episode that I’m less inclined to listen.

4 minutes of ads to start the “why we lie” episode followed by multiple ads at the 16 min mark and 30 min mark?? I had to stop listening after the 30 min mark because it’s honestly so frustrating to hear the same ads over and over and having to skip through them every 10 mins. ADs
The advertisements are getting EXCESSIVE! I mean 4 mins in and the podcast still has not started :( very disappointed because this podcast used to be my fav but now it just feels like an ad with breaks for a little podcast...

After years and years of supporting katy, I’ve reached my threshold. Her inability to speak on pressing issues, as well as her lying about traveling and pretending as though she is meticulously following the guidelines...so disappointed and over it. She blatantly ignores the human rights of P*lestinians and expresses her support for the Zionist state taking over their homeland, forcing them out of their homes, and cheering as they burn down their place of worship. Disgusting.

I really enjoy listening to this podcast as a woman in my twenties. Katy can say or do no wrong in this safe space that she has created for herself. If you enjoy emotional, stream of consciousness solo episodes with minimal ad reads then this is your type of podcast! If you prefer a more structured program then this is not the podcast for you.

She need no defending,, not our job. She bores, is self absorbed Yet,, who are you people who say a year in we’re not to see anyone outside of a household?! Haven’t you noticed all the people working? Making your life easy and pleasant, & likely getting paid much less the those who can isolate.
