Great, but….
I have love This American Life for years and rarely miss an episode. However, I must say I’m getting tired of the stories by Elna Baker, which all seem to be to some degree about how she grew up Mormon and left the church. The trope is tiresome and the stories often are somewhat bigoted against the religion.

This American Life is the best show on radio, bar none! Each episode is thought-provoking, entertaining, and interesting. It's like a good documentary film, only on the radio. The show captures real people and their lives. I am so excited to see this podcast. And remember, support NPR!Read full review »
