Great and informative
I became a fan of This is Horror a few months ago, despite not being a big listener of podcasts in general. Yes, I enjoy the topic of horror and love listening to writers talk about their work, but what I appreciate as a recovering journalist is Mr. Wilson's ability to get beyond "the book" and into all manner of issues. Early life lessons. Dealing with rejection. Alcoholism. Depression. These are fascinating and wide-ranging interviews that help you learn what makes the author, not just what makes the book.Read full review »

Jones delivers “Thirteen” as only he can. If you’ve never heard him read his stuff before, this is a great introduction. “Thirteen” is part of his “After The People Lights Go Off” collection, from Dark House Press.

For a fan of horror that spans the confines of cinema is awesome that this show can talk just as well about great horror stories and books that are out. I appreciate the wit and intelligence that both hosts bring forward with great reverence for the genre.
