My favorite show from NPR! Reema does an amazing job telling interesting and emotional personal stories while exploring what they say about our larger cultural understanding of money, finances, and relationships

One of the most interesting podcasts about finances and people. Reema is a great host and the topics are relevant.

One of my favourite podcasts! It’s well edited and researched, and the host is curious and compassionate. Always happy when there’s a new episode out!

The inflection and radio voices are changing. Younger generations sound like they are from the Valley these days. Interesting show but the voice is something I cannot stand. It’s not just this show, it’s most shows where the hosts sound like this.

No credibility whatsoever. Slanted, biased, and useless discussions. An episode on that whiny victim-playing litigious whiny Jewish gaslighter Eric Abramowitz? What a joke. Boohoo, he’s still mad at his girlfriend from years ago despite the fact that he suffered no harm in the end despite...Read full review »

Reema has a talent for choosing great stories and letting her subjects speak their truth. I look forward to every episode. Thank you, Reema, and all the others who work to make this a compelling and professionally produced podcast.

I know some people may say this is homophobic, but I genuinely don’t care. The category this is under is business which fits however I fell the description should include more of who the show mainly speaks about. More specifically I see business i think the host may be a business major making pod...Read full review »

I love this podcast; I’ll ALWAYS pick it first if it’s in my feed. The design is just so well done, sensitive and insightful. I was so fascinated to learn about Gaza from the hosts father and then someone in Gaza. I can’t get enough of Reemha (and I apologise that I just sounded out her name!)

I learn something new from every episode of this fabulous podcast. Reema is a wonderful, thoughtful host with evocative questions for guests that touch on important subjects and experiences that few would admit to sharing (though I wish more would). I appreciate the guests sharing their stories...Read full review »

a show about how gay people are bad at managing money

I appreciated the departure from the normal content over the past few weeks. Talking to someone who is currently under siege about their financial situation and prospects is not something we often get to hear but it’s so important!

I’ve been listening to this show for years and loved this episode. It hit me so hard-I felt I had to write about it. How can anyone ANYONE not recognize that we are all just trying to live our lives, love our families and children? Reema is such an insightful and wonderful interviewer and...Read full review »

Reposts propaganda by Hamas on her X page. All one sided. Supports terrorists. Don’t let her smoke and mirrors fool you. See for yourself @reemakhrais. Disgusting and disappointing. She could have used her platform for peace. Product of UNWRA.

Latest season is a major departure from previous. Not interested.

So appreciative listening in on you and your dad, his memories of Gaza, the way you bring humanity to Palestinians. Thank you for doing this episode.

This show has a lot of potential but doesn’t really know what it’s about

The producers balance in-depth research with candid interviews and inquiry-focused narration to deliver a first-rate podcast. One of my favorites.

Wow
I’m a longtime listener and fan of this show, but I’m leaving a review today because I’m really impressed by the thoughtfulness and vulnerability displayed by the host in the latest episode. This is important on a whole other level than the usual (great) episodes of this podcast. I applaud...Read full review »

Aside from my daily fix of NPR, this is uncomfortable, is my favorite podcast. Reema does a great job of storytelling rooted in journalism.

Reema is a gifted journalist with a wonderful radio voice who has a very bright future. I look forward to more This is Uncomfortable and whatever more she might do in the years to come. She would be a great host of Marketplace someday.

This used to be new but now it has become repetitive, same theme again and again. It is almost impossible to keep hearing the same old same old first world problems when so many bad things are going around the world…

This podcast has helped me navigate my own feelings around money and how it affects my relationships, decisions, etc. so easy to listen to!

Late to the game discovering this, but it’s incredible, nuanced storytelling on often neglected subjects without being preachy... I’m on the emotional edge of my seat every episode while learning about new things. Really, really well done

Only a few seasons in, but I love the balance of the host and the story.

Every story is fascinating- more about personal experience than about money. I loved the dual episode that started with the story about selling one’s eggs to a fertility clinic.

Learned about this podcast after it was featured by the Bodies podcast (which is stellar). I’ve listened to 2 episodes now and can’t wait to hear the rest! This episode , coming from a 24yr old woman who just got out of the remote camp labour, hit hard. The door handle turning at night is alll too familiar. Such a spectacular episode. It felt so good to hear an episode where I felt seen and heard. Thanks for sharing !

In depth and engrossing. I like how this podcast stays with one story the whole episode. It reveals the role of money in surprising ways. Thought provoking.

I got through phases with many podcasts, but This is Uncomfortable is a steady favorite and I never miss an episode. Reema has such a steady presence and I really enjoy listening to her interview her guests. I think money is something we should talk more about and this podcast helps!
