Useful idiot
World news is complicated, so I try to get my fill from reputable sources, not some anonymous high school kid with a cheap microphone. He has passion and the ability to sort real events from disinformation, but his ability to draw conclusions and articulate relationships between headlines are, charitably put, immature. With respect to the war in Ukraine, he appears unaware that he is parroting Russian propaganda with takes like "Russia's an unbeatable superpower, it's America's fault for making Ukrainians think they ever had a chance, 'they' lied to us that Ukraine would win." If you want more sophisticated takes, check out Peter Zeihan, Ian Bremmer, or George Friedman. If you want to listen to propaganda, at least Tucker Carlson has higher production quality.Read full review »

He could be right. He could be wrong. He could be a genius. He could be an a$$h0le. A refreshing perspective any way you cut it. I haven’t found many podcasts I enjoy agreeing and disagreeing with much more than this one.

Great stuff but audio painfully quiet sometimes had to skip episodes while working due to inability to hear clearly.
