A science news-rotation must
Every week I listen to BBC Science, Skeptics Guide to the Universe, and TWIS. BBC does a deep dive into a topic. SGU provides solid insight into scientific methods and news, and TWIS releases a week in review that covers many topics. These podcasts complement each other in format and voice. BBC is erudite, but still understandable. The SGU is back-against-the-wall aggressive. (They have zero tolerance for quackery, and good for them.) TWIS serves up its weekly round-up info with a lighter tone, but it still covers serious science. All three represent women in science as well as women on their panels. Of my three podcasts, TWIS comes in second for science communication. No pretense, lots of topics, and clear. I am not interested in every update they discuss, but at least twice a show I learn about something that intrigues me and I look into it further.

Great show. A nice science digest for anyone who wants the latest news and developments from science, with a sufficient dose of silliness to keep them smiling.
